All returning and new Friendship Circle Teen Friends and a parent are expected to attend an orientation seminar before beginning to volunteer with Friendship Circle. Orientation gives teens and their parents the opportunity to learn more about what to expect from volunteering with Friendship Circle and how to make the most of their experience.

This interactive seminar will help prepare and train Teen Friends so they feel confident and equipped to build meaningful connections with their matches. Teens and parents will also have the opportunity to hear directly from and learn from a variety of members of our community, including parents of Teen Friends, parents of Friends with disabilities, self advocates, Teen Friends, and other community members.
