Friends Coordinator:

The Friendship Circle Team is looking for a self motivated individual looking to take on meaningful community based work.

  • Sunday – Thursday
  • 20 hours per week
  • Remote position (Work from home, events, home visits)
  • Flexible hours
  • Position will run our Friends@Home, Friends with Pens, and community outreach

Applicants must possess strong communication and organizational skills with a desire to work in a fast-paced, small team environment with a high level of collaboration with the other 2 staff members. Respectful towards all co-workers and organization members.  Is detail oriented and works well independently.  Self-motivated and able to work flexible hours as required to accommodate evening and Sunday events. Excellent writing and communication skills, an ability to pick up new skills quickly, trustworthiness, and a strong work ethic are essential.  Personable, empathetic, and sensitive to the disability population and to all youth in general.  Able and willing to communicate with parents, teens and volunteers.  Background in disabilities (both visible and invisible) a plus.
