JDAIM Silent Disco

Join Friendship Circle of Virginia and the Weinstein JCC for an afternoon of music, connection, and fun where everyone can move at their own pace and enjoy an inclusive, sensory-friendly experience.

This FREE community event features a sensory-friendly dance party where everyone listens to music through wireless headphones, with control over volume and song choice. Children (ages 5–12) and teens will each have their own separate space to enjoy crafts, snacks, and music.

When: Sunday, February 8 | 2:00–4:00 PM
Where: Weinstein JCC - 5403 Monument Ave, Richmond, VA 23226

This event is open to Friendship Circle Families and the Richmond Jewish Community and is designed to create a welcoming, sensory-friendly space where kids and teens with and without disabilities can simply be kids—enjoying music, dancing, crafts, and fun activities in a supportive environment.

The Silent Disco will feature two separate spaces:

Kids (12 and under)
Teens

This is not a drop-off program. Parents and caregivers are invited to relax in a designated space with coffee and treats while connecting with other parents.
