Autism Society Event- Sensory-Friendly First Responder Safety Seminar

February 8 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

FREE
Hosted by the Autism Society of Central Virginia in collaboration with the Richmond Police Department, this free, interactive seminar aims to strengthen the relationship between individuals with autism, their families, and local first responders.

Join us for interactive sessions to practice officer-led scenarios, including what to do if you’re pulled over while driving or stopped while walking. We’ll also offer informative presentations on when and how to make a 911 call, as well as what to do in the event of a fire. Additionally, community resource representatives will be available to share valuable information and answer your questions and much more!
